Most changes to your apartment – from a new air conditioner to a full renovation – need approval from the Owners Corporation before work begins. Before you start

Speak to the Building Manager to talk through your plans. The Building Manager can they guide you through the right application process and provide valuable information about the Mondrian that can save you time and money. Filling in the application is quicker if you have everything ready first. You’ll need to provide a clear description of the proposed work, and any supporting documents – plans, drawings, product specifications, or contractor details.

What happens next

Your application goes to the Building Manager, who refers it to the Strata Committee and Strata Manager for consideration. Straightforward requests are usually handled quickly, while major or complex works may need to go to a General Meeting of owners – so apply well ahead of your planned start date. You’ll be notified of the outcome, and work can only begin once written approval is in place.
