Apply for a Security Fob
Apply for a Security Fob
Your key to the building – for owners and their agents.
Your security fob opens the building lobby, your floor, the pool, and the car park. If you need an additional or replacement fob, this form starts the process. Fobs can only be purchased by the lot owner or their registered agent — tenants should apply through their landlord. Two types are available: a standard fob (ESF) for proximity access, and a remote fob (RESF) that also opens the garage shutter.
Before you start
Have these ready before completing the form:
- Your apartment and lot number
- How many fobs you need, and which type (ESF or RESF)
- Your EFT payment receipt
- If a tenant will collect the fob – their name and contact details, plus your authorisation
Payment is made by EFT before the fob is issued. The bank details are shown on the form – please pay first, then attach your receipt. Replacing a faulty fob? Hand the old one to the Building Manager first, and the replacement cost is reduced.
Which fob do I need?
- ESF ($55) – A badge device you swipe against the proximity reader. Opens the building lobby, your floor, the pool, and the car park. This is the standard fob for most residents.
- RESF ($110) – Everything the ESF does, plus the ability to remotely open the garage entry shutter from your car. Useful if you park onsite and want hands-free garage access.
What happens next
- Your application goes to the Strata Manager, who confirms your payment
- Once confirmed, the Building Manager prepares your fob(s)
- You’ll be advised when they’re ready for collection
- Photo ID is required at collection
Remember, fobs are audited annually, so make sure tradespeople, cleaners, and outgoing tenants hand theirs back.
